I had initially gone with a different bank for a vehicle loan. I had a previous loan through OPFCU and wanted to see if they could help me with the new one. I was able to get a lower interest rate, will pay off the loan sooner, and was able to do everything through the computer without having to drive from Fremont to Omaha to sign everything. While my family and I were traveling we had a vehicle breakdown 9 hours from home and the cost of the repair was more than we had available to us. We first contacted the bank we use locally and were unable to get assistance due to being out of town so we called OPFCU to see if we could get a small loan to help us out and within minutes we had the funds in our account! We were able to get the repair and continue on our way very soon. I have dealt with many financial institutions in the past and OPFCU has exceeded the standard of care!
